I dusted off the old film collection and decided to watch Smokey and the Bandit. Well, I say dusted off. What I mean is I bought it for a fiver at HMV! Still, its a great film. You just don’t get the same kinda feeling of camaraderie today. Back then , truckers and CB’s, beer smuggling, brides to be running from the law! What a great concept for a film!
So in the immortal words of Sheriff Buford T. Justice. Watch this film again, you suuuunbitch!

I have to say, without a doubt, its one of the best movies I’ve seen. It’s awesome. The special effects are brilliant, you can hardly tell they’re CGI (aside from the fact there are no such things as giant robots). I won’t say my favourite bits just yet as I know most haven’t seen it.
It’s actually making me seriously consider buying a 5.1 system and a BluRay/HD-DVD player for when its released on DVD. It is just that good. Really does justice to the original transformers of my youth.
Go see it. You will not be disappointed. I will be off to see it again.
It’s been a while since I last posted. IOW was awesome. The Stones sure know how to rock! Been busy at work too, so had to neglect the posts.
So Die Hard 4 is out soon. Read an interview with Willis. He thinks it will be as good as Die Hard, if not better. Either way, I’m sure it won’t be bad!

Not long now. The UK release date is 27th July 2007, so under 2 months to go now! Really looking forward to it. MTV showed some additional footage of Prime versus Bonecrusher. It looks and sounds awesome! Check it out at YouTube.
In other news, rumours abound that there are potentially two sequels in the pipeline. Who knows if there true? I guess we’ll have to see how the movie performs. In the meantime, check out the article at Digital Spy.
