1976 Reliant Scimitar - The Mirth MobileAfter a successful eBay car search campaign we’ve finally found the car for the rallies! Ok, in case you don’t know, I’ll roll it back a bit. Me and a few mates have decided to do a couple of banger rallies round Europe next year. The first step is to get a car.

So, all up to speed! We settled on The Mirth Mobile, well it’s like the car from Waynes World. A lot bigger though. Imagine the Ferris Bueller scene where he describes the car….queue music….

A 1976 Reliant Scimitar GTE 3.0L Manual. Only several thousand were made. May I present…the car!

Off to the IOW Festival

I’ll shortly be off to join Michelle at Waterloo to head down to the Isle of Wight Festival. Should be getting there about 9.30-ish if Darren’s on time. I don’t relish setting the tent up in the dark though! Hopefully there will be enough light.

Right, need to get some beers and a rubber mallet. See you there!
